Concentrated (47% of active ingredients) emulsion of synthetic polymers, for the improvement of the properties of cement-based mortars.
It significantly improves adhesion, watertightness, elasticity, surface hardness and chemical resistance of mortars, while at the same time minimizes drying shrinkage and thus the danger of cracking, and improves workability.
SBR POWER•LATEX is APEO and ammonia free in conformity with REACH regulation.
It has low content in Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) in conformity with the Directive 2004/42/EC.
Used as an admixture, replacing part of the water required for mixing of cement-based mortars.
Ideal for the preparation of renders with increased mechanical properties, as well as increased water resistance, for cement mortars with increased water impermeability and abrasion resistance, as a bonding layer between old and new concrete or mortar, for the preparation of concrete repairing mortars, the improvement of cementitious adhesives and grouts, etc.
Indicatively: 5-10% of the cement weight, depending on the application.
